Description

Honesty Cottage is an 18th- to early 19th-century cottage located on the west side of Main Street, Water Stratford. The cottage is constructed of whitewashed rubble stone with timber lintels over the openings. It has a thatched roof and end stacks. The cottage is two storeys high and has three bays. The windows are varied 2-light metal casements, leaded in the upper left-hand bay. A single casement on the first floor in the centre bay is leaded with coloured glass. A 20th-century brick extension provides access to the rear door. The building is included on the list for group value.
