Rose Cottage, dating from the early 19th century, is constructed of red brick and features a slate roof. This two-storey building has four double-hung sash windows, each four panes wide, with the leftmost window being widely spaced. To the left of the centre, there is an open gabled porch that has an arched front supported by baluster columns. The entrance consists of a four-panel door topped with a half-round wheel fanlight. The property is enclosed by a dwarf garden wall topped with a low cast iron balustrade and matching gates. The gates are adorned with spearhead standards featuring twisted stems and two horizontal rails with scrolls at the ends of each section.
