Description

Elm Cottage is a 17th-century building that was refronted in the 18th century. It features colourwashed brick and a hipped old tile roof. The side elevations are timber-framed with brick nogging. The cottage has two storeys, with a central six-panel door flanked by three-light leaded casements, all of which have segmental brick arches above them. On the first floor, there are two three-light leaded casements. To the right, there is a six-pane wide sash window on the ground floor and a two-light casement on the first floor. The side elevation has irregular windows.
