Description

Townend Farmhouse is an early 19th-century building located on the west side of High Street in Great Missenden. It is constructed of red brick and features a hipped slate roof with projecting eaves. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has a central entrance with a six-flush panel door and a four-pane fanlight above. On either side of the door, there are four-pane double-hung sash windows, with two similar windows above and a central three-pane sash window. All openings are adorned with flat gauged brick arches. A projecting stack is located on the north flank wall.
