Description
Gateway School, located on the east side of High Street in Great Missenden, is an early 19th-century building. It features colourwashed cement rendering, rusticated quoins, and a first-floor band, topped with a hipped slate roof. The structure is two storeys high and has three double-hung sash windows, each four panes wide, set in reveals. A Roman Doric porch with a modillion cornice and a traceried rectangular fanlight adorns the entrance. The front is enclosed by iron spearhead railings and a gate, supported by wooden posts. Additionally, there is a flint and brick wall attached to the south side of the building.
