Description
The Red Lion Public House is a late 18th-century to early 19th-century building, altered since its original construction. It is built of whitewashed brick with red brick dressings. It has a plinth and off-set eaves, and an old tile roof with brick chimneys to the right and between the left bays. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. On the ground floor, there are three 3-light leaded casements with transoms and segmental heads. The first floor has three 3-light wooden casements with barred glazing, fitted with 20th-century board shutters. A 20th-century door is located between the right bays, with a flat wooden hood supported on brackets and a recessed brick panel above. A single-storey range attached to the right side contains a board door and garage doors.
