Description

There are two limekilns located south of Little Aygill, likely dating from the 18th century. They are constructed from stone rubble and are square in shape, positioned next to each other and facing north, with the western kiln projecting slightly. Both kilns feature corbelled fireholes; the eastern kiln has an asymmetrical opening, while the western kiln has a higher opening that is now partly blocked.
