Description
Feetham Holme West is a house that has been converted into a byre. It dates from the mid-18th century and was raised and converted in the early 19th century. The building is constructed from sandstone rubble and features a stone slate roof with coped gables and quoins. It is two storeys high and has three openings on the first floor, with the rightmost opening blocked and the other two converted into loft doors. On the ground floor, there is an off-centre doorway flanked by openings, and to the right, there is a narrower opening, all of which have flush stone surrounds. The rear of the building has a central doorway and a blocked segment-arched opening to the right. Inside, there is an original large segment-arched fireplace with cupboards on either side. The building is included for its group value.
