Description

GRINTON SD99NE HIGH LANE, Whitaside (north side (off)) 1203- /15/10002 Feetham Holme West GV II

House, now byre. Mid C18, raised and converted early C19. Sandstone rubble, stone slate roof, with coped gables. Quoins. 2 storey, 3 first floor openings, right one blocked, the other 2 converted to loft doors. Ground floor has off-centre doorway with flanking openings, and beyond to right a narrower opening, all with flush stone surrounds. The rear has a central doorway and to the right a blocked segment arched opening. Interior; original large segment arched fireplace with cupboards on eitherside. Included for group value.
