Description

Feetham Holme South is a mid-18th century house and barn combined under one roof, now functioning as a byre. It is constructed of sandstone rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building stands two storeys tall and has two first-floor windows on the house. The central doorway has a quoined surround. The first bay of the house contains square, unequally-hung sashes with glazing bars set in ashlar surrounds, while the second bay has sashes with glazing bars. There is an end stack on the left side of the house and the ruins of a stair turret at the rear. The barn on the right side has quoined doorways on both floors, each with finely-dressed ashlar surrounds, and there is an end entry to the ground floor of the barn.
