Description
Feetham Holme East is a house, now functioning as a byre, dated 1694. It is constructed of sandstone rubble with a stone slate roof and stands two storeys high. The building features three first-floor windows, with the central window blocked. It has quoins, and the central quoined doorway displays a moulded arris and an inscription on the lintel reading '16 SR 94' AR. The windows have been altered over time but originally included crude mullions and interrupted jambs. Inside, all four rooms were heated, and there is a blocked fire window on the left. A stone staircase is located against the rear wall of the parlour on the right. The ground floor is low, with cambered beams supporting the first floor.
