Description

Rock Farmhouse is a farmhouse with origins in the 17th century, dated 1758, and altered in the 20th century. It is constructed of slobbered rubble with stone dressings and a stone slate roof. The rear of the farmhouse faces the street.

The garden front has two storeys and a double-fronted design. The central entrance has a plain surround and a 20th-century door. A datestone above the entrance is inscribed "P S A" (Procter). There are two three-light recessed, flat-faced mullioned windows on each storey. A left-hand gable and a ridge stack to the right of centre are present. Eaves modillions are also visible.

At the rear, there are two ground-floor double chamfered ovolo mullioned windows, one of five lights and the other of four lights. A mid-18th-century staircase window is centrally located, featuring two lights with a recessed, flat-faced mullion and transom. The upper floor has a heightened three-light double chamfered mullioned window on the left-hand side and a 20th-century window on the right-hand side. The farmhouse also incorporates 20th-century casement windows.
