Description

Meadow Croft is a mid-18th century farmhouse, later altered in the 19th and 20th centuries and now used as a house. It is constructed of slobbered squared rubble with stone dressings and a stone slate roof. The house has a central staircase plan and is two storeys high, with a double-fronted facade. The left-of-centre entrance has a plain surround and a four-panel door with the upper two panels glazed. Above the door is a pulvinated frieze and pediment. There are two windows to each storey, featuring 3-light recessed flat faced mullioned windows with 20th-century casements. The gables have kneelers and coping, and gable end ridge stacks.
