Description
This is an outbuilding, possibly a former brewhouse that later served as a wash-house, dating from around 1802. It was built for Joseph Lodge and is constructed of rubble with a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys. On the right side, there is a board door set in a round-arched ashlar surround, which rests on plinths and features imposts and a keystone. On the left side, there are ashlar nosed-tread steps leading up to a first-floor board door, also in an ashlar surround. The roof is hipped. This outbuilding is included in the listing for its group value with the nearby Lodge.
