Description

This is a circa 1800 coach house and stable, originally serving Rylstone House. The building is constructed of coursed stone with hipped stone slate roofs. The central projecting section originally featured a two-story coach entrance with a segmented head, now infilled with a large 20th-century window. A circular window sits above the entrance, topped by a central weathervane. Flanking the central section are single-story wings, each with a central round-headed doorway. These doorways now have 20th-century doors, with blocked fanlights above, and are flanked by single-pane glazing bar sash windows.
