Pair of farmhouses in 2 occupations (same family); part used as barn. Later C17 or early C18; altered. Coursed sandstone rubble with quoins and some through-stones, the domestic portion painted white. 2 storeys, 2:3 windows. Single-depth 3-unit plan on east-west axis facing south, with the barn continued at the west end. The ground floor has a doorway to the left and a 3-light chamfered mullion window next to it (the 3rd light blocked) under a continuous drip-band, then 2 square windows, another doorway (with painted plain surround), and to the right of this an oblong window and a rectangular window; the upper floor has 5 square windows. All except the mullioned window have altered glazing. Gable chimney to right, cut-down ridge chimney at junction with barn to left. INTERIOR: altered but room at east end of ground floor has spice-cupboard lettered "D / I I" (= John and Isabella Dawson).
