Description

East Coat Weggs Bridge is a public road bridge over the Clough River, likely built in the 18th century. The bridge is constructed from sandstone rubble arranged in courses. It features a segmental arch with long rubble voussoirs, a slightly arched stone slate band, and triangular coping stones on the east parapet. The west side has concrete capping, and the bridge has a narrow humped deck. It has been widened on the west side.
