Description

Norcliffe is an early 19th-century house on the south side of Main Street, Austwick. It is constructed of slobbered rubble with painted stone dressings, and has a slate roof. The house has two rooms and is double-fronted. The entrance, located to the left of centre, has a plain surround on square bases, leading to a late 19th-century plank door. There are two 16-pane sash windows on each floor, each with plain surrounds and projecting sills. Gable end ridge stacks are present. The building is included in the listing primarily for its group value.
