Description
This is a limekiln located near Blackburn Beck, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed from drystone rubble and has a square plan. The kiln features a semicircular arch made of rubble voussoirs that leads to the hearth. Access to the kiln is from the top, and at the time of the resurvey, a tree was growing out of a hole in the structure.
