Description
This lime kiln, located approximately 250 yards south-south-west of Beckstones Farmhouse, is likely from the 18th century. It is built from coursed, squared rubble in a drystone construction. The kiln is circular in shape and stands about 12 feet high, featuring a ramp on the south side that leads up to the top. There is a hearth opening on the south-east side, which is around 5 feet high and has splayed sides.
