Description
The King's Head Hotel is a public house that incorporates several former dwellings. It is likely from the 18th century, although it may have an older core, and has undergone later additions and alterations. The building is constructed of rubble, with parts lime-washed and parts stuccoed, and features a graduated slate roof. It has two storeys and a total of ten bays.
On the left side, there is a door with sash windows on either side and garage doors to the far left. The central section has a door with narrow sash windows on either side, while the right side features a door with a sash window to the right and a store door set back on the far right. All doors are made of planks, and the middle three doors are framed in corniced doorcases. The first floor has nine sash windows, all of which include glazing bars. The building also has stone coping and a kneeler at the south end, along with stone chimneys in the middle and at the ends.
