Description

The Methodist Chapel, dated 1839 and built for its centenary, features coursed, squared rubble with quoins and a graduated slate roof. This symmetrical building is a single tall storey with three bays. There are three stone steps leading up to panelled double doors, which have a fanlight above and are set in a doorcase with a projecting keystone and imposts. On either side of the doors, there is a large semicircular-headed window with interlaced glazing bars. A dated panel is located above the door. Lean-to additions on the returns are not of interest.
