Description

The Former Chapel School, dated 1847, is a single-storey building constructed of coursed rubble with a stone slate roof. It features three bays and has a lower projecting gabled porch with ashlar quoins. The entrance is located in the right side of the porch, which also contains a 4-pane sash window. The building has 9-pane casement windows and ashlar copings. There is an end stack on the right side, and on the left gable, there is a bellcote with heart-shaped openings inscribed "W. A. METCALFE A.D. 1847". This building is included for its group value.
