Description

This privy, located approximately 5 meters east of Badger Dub in Garsdale, is likely from the 18th century. It is constructed from large, roughly-coursed sandstone rubble and features a monopitched stone slate roof. The building has a rectangular plan that faces west and was originally built as a bridge over a fast-flowing beck. At the time of the survey in October 1994, the north side wall was leaning. This privy is part of a group with Badger Dub.
