Description
This building is a privy located approximately 40 yards north of Coupland Castle, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of random rubble with tooled-and-margined ashlar dressings and features a Welsh slate roof.
The structure is a double privy, with one boarded door on the front and another on the gable end. At the rear, there are two round-headed brick arches designed for digging out waste. Inside, the privy contains seats.
In more recent times, the building has been repurposed as kennels, which has resulted in the addition of a low brick wall in front and iron railings with hooped tops.
