Description

St Helen’s Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse constructed of dressed stone with a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys and five bays wide. It features rusticated quoins, a string course that rises to meet the quoins, and a cornice which forms kneelers to the coped gables. Moulded gable stacks are present. The front doorway has an eared architrave with a large segmental pediment above. The windows are sash windows with all original glazing bars, set within simple architraves. A small oculus is set in the gable of the right-hand return wall. The rear wall incorporates sash windows and a tall stair window. The building has group value.
