Description

New Laithe is a barn, likely built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from limestone rubble with sandstone dressings and features a stone slate roof. The building has quoins and coped gables with kneelers. There is a large cart entry on the roadside with a segmental arch made of two stones. To the left of the cart entry are 19th-century mistal windows, and there is a chamfered mistal doorway on the left-hand return, which includes a dovecote in the gable.
