Description
Ash Hill Farmhouse and the attached stable were built in the early 18th century and around 1800. The structure is made of coursed squared marlstone with some wooden lintels, topped with a Welsh-slate roof that features rebuilt stacks. The farmhouse has a three-unit plan that has been extended to four units and stands two storeys tall with an attic.
The main façade has four windows, including two three-light casements on the left with flat arches, a four-light casement with a lintel to the right of the center, and a six-panel door at the extreme right. The first floor has casements with three, three, two, and two lights. The roof is adorned with gable parapets and moulded kneelers, and it has stacks at the center and on the left gable. An added bay on the left features a casement and a shallower roof with a gable parapet. The stable range to the right has openings at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
