Description
Lands Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse that was altered in the late 18th century. It is constructed from marlstone ashlar and features a Welsh-slate roof with ashlar gable stacks. The building is L-shaped and has three storeys on one side and two storeys on the other. The front of the house is symmetrical with three windows and a central four-panel door that is sheltered by a 19th-century gabled canopy. The tall casements on the ground and first floors have flat arches and projecting keyblocks, while the second floor, which is an addition, has shorter casements. The end walls of the farmhouse display a steeper roof pitch. There is a stepped chimney projection on the left side. At the rear, there is a long two-storey wing with segmental-arched casements. The interior has not been inspected.
