Description

A small house located in Swerford East End, built in 1727 as evidenced by a datestone. The exterior is constructed of coursed marlstone rubble with squared quoins and wooden lintels, topped with a Welsh-slate roof and brick gable stacks. The house follows a two-unit plan, with two storeys plus an attic. The front facade has a two-window arrangement. A central plank doorway is topped by a flat canopy supported on shaped brackets, and is flanked by three-light casement windows with stop-chamfered lintels. The first floor features two smaller three-light casement windows and a central datestone inscribed "B/HE/1727". The roofline includes gabled parapets. The interior has not been inspected.
