Description

This boundary stone, located at Ingleton Newby Head Gate, dates from the mid to late 19th century. It is made of dressed millstone grit and stands approximately 60 centimeters high. The face of the stone is inscribed with the words "DENT INGLETON." It features a basket-arched top with herringbone tooling and includes an Ordnance Survey rivet benchmark.
