Description
This farm building, along with an adjoining wall and gate-pier, dates from the late 18th century and is located approximately 5 metres to the west of the Old Post Office. It is constructed of rubble with a stone slate roof. The entrance front faces at a right angle to the road and features a central board door on the ground floor, set within a plain stone surround on plinths. To the right, there are external stone steps leading to a similar doorway on the first floor. In the centre of the first floor, there is a shuttered window framed in stone. The building has a hipped roof, and the right return wall includes an ashlar surround for a first-floor oculus. A short length of rubble wall is located to the right of the entrance front. This structure is included partly for its group value with nearby buildings.
