Description
Lovington Farmhouse is a 18th-century farmhouse that has been remodeled in the 20th century. It is constructed of brick and features an old plain tile roof. The building consists of three bays, with an additional bay added to the left and another to the rear on the right. The garden front is two stories high and has three bays, with a fourth bay added to the left.
The central doorway of the original part has a 20th-century glazed door set in an older frame, which includes a rectangular fanlight above it. On either side of the door are 12-pane sash windows, with a smaller sash window located in the right bay. On the first floor, there are four 12-pane flush-framed sash windows, with a narrow window above the door and a smaller one to the right. All openings feature segmental heads. The roof is hipped and has three flat-roofed dormers with two lights each, and there are chimney stacks located behind the ridge to the left of center and on the ridge of the rear wing at the right.
