Description

Yew Tree Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that was remodelled in the mid-20th century. It features a timber frame with plaster and brick infill and has a thatched roof. The cottage is positioned end on to the road and is 1½ storeys high with two bays, including a lean-to at the far end and at the rear. The frame includes large diagonal braces, while the ground floor has been rebuilt in brick and features 20th-century windows. Above, there are four eyebrow dormers with two-light casements, one of which is significantly larger than the others. The roof is half-hipped and has a ridge piece along with a brick stack located over the road bay.
