Description

This is a mid-19th century cottage row, comprising numbers 107, 109, and 111 Malling Street, in Lewes. The cottages are constructed of red brick, knapped flint, and hang plain tiles, with plain tiled roofs. Number 107 features red brick and a tile-hung first floor. Number 109 has a knapped flint facade with brick dressings. Number 111 is built of red brick in Flemish bond, distinguished by blue headers. Each cottage has two storeys and a single window facing the street, with the cottages stepped along the street frontage. The windows are sash windows. The buildings are included on the list because of their group value.
