Description
No. 123, Malling Street is an 18th-century house, altered in the early 19th century. The front is plastered with some weatherboarding below the first floor, which features bowed bays. It has a moulded wooden eaves cornice and a plain tiled roof with end projecting stacks. The house has two storeys and a two-window front, with two-storey canted bays, each with casement windows containing glazing bars. A boarded and ribbed door is located between the bays. An arched entrance with double-glazed doors is on the extreme left. A small, blocked, round-arched window is visible in the gable of the right return front. The building is included on the list for its group value.
