Description
This small water mill, now used as a store, dates from the early 19th century. It features walls made of malmstone ashlar with brick quoins and cambered openings. The lower south wall has a header band and shows marks from the former water wheel. The roof is tiled with small half hips and has brick dentil eaves. The mill is a tall three-storey structure set against a steep valley side. It includes casement windows, one boarded door, and a loft door. There are also remains of the walls that once enclosed the water channel, which narrows towards the mill, while the former supply channel along the valley side has since been filled in.
