The Old Mill is a house built in 1837. It features walls made of malmstone ashlar with brick quoins, cambered arches, and a stepped plinth band. The roof is low pitched and hipped, covered with slate. The front of the building, facing east, is two storeys high and has four windows with sash frames set in reveals. There is a plain doorway with a canopy supported by brackets, leading to a half-glazed door. Above this entrance, a stone plaque is inscribed with "F Fitt 1837." The south elevation is symmetrical, with two windows, and is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, featuring casement windows and a French door.
