Description

Forge Cottage is a small house dating from the 18th century, with early 19th-century elements. The walls are painted and built in a Flemish bond brick pattern. It has a hipped roof covered in tiles. The symmetrical west front, facing the street, is two storeys high and has three windows, with a central recessed section. Casement windows are set within the façade. A Victorian doorcase features a moulded cornice supported by console brackets, with fluted pilasters framing a 20th-century eight-panelled door.
