Description

Lassams is a house dating from the 17th century, with some 20th-century alterations. The exterior features exposed framing with arch braces and close studding on the south side outshot, along with brick infill that includes some herringbone patterns. The roof is half-hipped and tiled, with four dormers that also have hipped roofs. The front of the house, facing northeast, has one storey and an attic, with a total of four windows above three. The windows are leaded casements. There is a shallow traditional porch made of a brick-nogged timber frame, topped with a gabled roof and featuring a boarded door. The northernmost bay of the house is a 20th-century addition, designed in a compatible style.
