Description

Eades Cottage, formerly known as Clyphada, is a 17th-century cottage with a later wing that forms an L-shape. The building features a timber frame with exposed sections, brick infill, some areas of brickwork, and tile-hanging above the brickwork. It has a half-hipped thatch roof with a tiled outshot. The cottage is one storey with an attic and has irregularly placed windows. The windows are 20th-century casements, and there is a boarded door set in a plain frame. Additionally, there are two lead fire insurance signs on the property. The cottage underwent a restoration in the 20th century.
