Description

Cleverleys is a house dating from the late 18th century, with a slightly later extension to the east. It features roughcast walls and a plinth, topped with a tile roof and brick dentil eaves. The original design included a symmetrical south front with two storeys and three windows, although the centre window is blank. The house was later extended by adding two more windows. The windows are casements, and there are two plain doorways; one has a six-panelled door beneath a hood supported by carved brackets, while the other is boarded.
