Description

This is an 18th-century barn located 50 meters south of Malthouse Farmhouse in Cheriton Brandy Mount. The barn features a timber frame that is weatherboarded and sits on a plinth made of brick and flint, topped with a corrugated iron roof. It has five bays, with double doors on one of the bays and a 19th-century cowshed attached to the front on an end bay. Inside, the barn has a queen strut roof supported by straight braces and wind braces.
