Description
The Flower Pots Public House is an early 19th-century building located in Cheriton. It is constructed of brick and features slate roofs. The main building is two stories high with three bays, while there is a single-story, two-bay wing attached. The central doorway has a four flush-panel door topped with a rectangular fanlight, framed by a plain pilaster doorcase and a bracketed flat hood. The facade includes four 16-pane sash windows with rubbed brick arches, and there is a blank opening above the door that matches the window style. The hipped roof has symmetrical stacks on the end walls. In the right wing, there is an early 19th-century four flush-panel door with a small fanlight set within a segmental head, sheltered by a flat-roofed porch. To the right of this door, there are two three-light casement windows with camber heads. A stack is located behind the ridge at the center of the roof.
