Description

Thatched Cottage is a late 17th-century cottage located on Filmore Hill Lane in Froxfield. It features exposed timber framing with brick nogging on the north and east sides, while the other sides have painted brickwork. The cottage has a thatched roof that is hipped and half-hipped, adorned with eyebrow dormers, and the eaves extend above the porch. This timber-framed building has one storey and an attic, with irregularly placed small casement windows and a rustic brick porch. There are minor 19th-century and 20th-century extensions.
