Description
Brooklands is a house built in the early 19th century, with alterations made in the early 20th century. It features a red mathematical tile exterior on a red and blue brick plinth, with rendered quoins and an eaves band. The roof is plain tiled and has end stacks, two segment-headed dormers, and a central skylight. The house has two storeys and attics, with a three-window front. The outer bays on the first floor have glazing bar sashes, while the center has a mid-20th century casement window. On the ground floor, there are two canted bays flanking a half-glazed door set in a moulded wooden surround, all sheltered by a tiled pentice roof. The ground floor sashes have glazing bars only in the upper blades. The building is included for its group value.
