Description
The Swan Public House is a mid-18th century building that has been altered in the later 19th century. It is constructed of painted brick resting on a deep painted plinth. The building features a moulded cornice beneath a plain tiled roof, which is adorned with ridge cresting. There are end stacks and three large gabled dormers with bargeboards.
The structure has two storeys, attics, and cellars. The first floor has four windows, which are glazing bar sashes, although the second window from the left is blind. To the left and in the centre, there are paired sashes without glazing bars, and a single sash is located to the right. The windows on the left are topped with a cornice hood.
To the right, there is an arched entrance with a gabled hood supported by brackets, and to the left, a semi-circular porch features a pilastered torsion-arched entrance.
