Description

This barn, located 10 metres south of Binsted Place, dates from the late 18th century and has been converted into a service building. It features stone walls and a tiled roof, forming a rectangular block with a lower cross-wing at the west end. The roof is half-hipped at the east, while the cross-wing has gables on both the north and south sides. The walls are constructed of malmstone with brick dressings, including quoins and cambered arches, and the cross-wing is built of brick in Flemish bond. There are two small areas of horizontal boarding in the upper part of the structure, along with small casement windows and boarded doors.
