Description

No. 14 High Street is a house dating from the early 18th century, featuring a 19th-century shop front on the ground floor. The building is constructed with grey headers and red brick dressings. It has a cornice band above the first floor and a similar band above the second floor, which is below a parapet that conceals the roof. There are end stacks and the house has three storeys with five windows, which are glazing bar sashes with open boxes. The ground floor has an altered 19th-century double shop front to the left, complete with colonnettes and two inset doors. To the right is a 20th-century door with a glazed surround.
