Description
No 210 High Street is a house that has been converted into offices. It dates from the early 18th century on the right side and was refronted and extended to the left in the early to mid 19th century. The building is finished in stucco with plain tiled roofs. It has two storeys, featuring a moulded cornice at the parapet and a large gabled dormer on the right. There is a large stack positioned to the right of the centre. The layout is L-shaped, with a three-window, two-storey bay on the end of the right-hand projection, which covers the left-hand three bays of the block, while the right-hand five bays form No 212. The front has six windows arranged in a 2-1-3 rhythm, with the windows on the right in the bay, and the first-floor window above the door being narrower and more widely spaced. The windows are sashes set in moulded raised surrounds. There is a projecting single-storey porch at the angle of the L, featuring a panelled door and a Tuscan pilastered surround with an entablature hood.
