Description
No. 211 is a house dating from the early 18th century, with some alterations made in the later 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a stuccoed band, key-blocks, and rusticated quoins. The building has a moulded wooden eaves cornice and a plain tiled roof, which includes two segment-headed dormers. There is a stack at the right end and another stack behind the ridge on the left. The house has two storeys, attics, and a basement, with a regular five-window front. The windows are glazing bar sashes set in partly open boxes, featuring gauged heads and key-blocks. The central entrance consists of a panelled door with a radiating fanlight and a pilastered surround, topped with an open triangular pediment. In front, there are arrow-head railings surrounding the area, supported by vase-head standards.
